Shipping and Refund Policy

McGrath Company Seals aims to deliver orders efficiently while maintaining the highest craftsmanship standards.

1. Shipping & Delivery

1.1 Dispatch Times

Most orders are produced and dispatched promptly once payment is received.

Our Express Service (2‑hour collection / next‑day dispatch) is subject to workload and material availability.

1.2 Delivery Partners

We use reputable couriers and An Post. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors outside our control (postal delays, strikes, weather conditions, etc.).

1.3 Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please ensure your delivery details are correct when placing an order.

If delivery is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address or if no one is available to accept delivery, the Client is responsible for re‑delivery costs.

1.4 Lost or Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at seals@mcgrathseals.ie within 48 hours.

We will investigate and resolve the issue with our delivery partner as quickly as possible.

2. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

2.1 Custom‑Made Products – No Cancellations

All company seals, stamps and engraved products are custom‑made to the Client’s specifications.

For this reason:

Once production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled and refunds cannot be issued, except where required by law.

2.2 Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Law)

Custom-made products are exempt from the standard 14‑day cooling‑off period under Irish/EU consumer law.

This exemption applies to all McGrath Company Seals products.

2.3 Errors Made by Us

If McGrath produces an item incorrectly (e.g., incorrect text where the order details were accurate), we will correct or replace the item at no extra charge.

2.4 Errors in Details Provided by the Client

We produce seals exactly as the details provided.

If incorrect information was supplied, we cannot provide refunds or free replacements.

2.5 Postage Costs

Shipping charges are non‑refundable unless required by law or where the product is faulty due to an error by McGrath.

3. Quality & Inspection

Please inspect your order upon receipt.

If you believe there is an issue with the product, contact us within 48 hours and we will assess the matter promptly.
